Faruque Ahmed

Faruque Ahmed has been involved in Bengali literary and cultural activities in Bangladesh and in the UK for nearly three decades. He has served for a number of newspapers and magazines in various capacities. 
His works include Vilate Bangla Songbadpatra o Sangbadikata (2002), Vilate Banglar Rajniti (2012), Golapganjer Itihas (2015), Shaptahik Janomat : Muktijudder Ononno Dalil (2016), Vilate Bangla Sahitya O Sanskriti Charcha (2019); and English: Bengali Journals and Journalism in Britain (2000), Bengal Politics in Britain Logic, Dynamics and Disharmony (2010).
Faruque Ahmed has received the Bangla Academy NRB Writer's Award in 2013. He was born in 1964, in the village of Goashpur, Sylhet. He has been residing in London with his family since 1989.
